MVR evaporation principle and classification
MVR is the abbreviation of mechanical vapor recompression technology (mechanical vapor recompression), is the use of evaporation system itself to produce secondary steam and its energy, the low-grade steam through the mechanical work of the compressor to enhance the high-grade steam heat source for evaporation, so the cycle to provide heat to the evaporation system, thereby reducing the need for external energy is an energy-saving technology.
MVR is mainly used in evaporating and concentrating materials, and has energy-saving advantages compared with traditional multi-effect evaporation, which has been successfully used in chemical waste water zero discharge, sugar alcohol organic concentration, pharmaceutical intermediate concentration, distillation spent steam utilization, etc. MVR evaporator has unique process and structure, which are introduced below.
MVR membrane evaporator
Materials are preheated by the preheater and added from the heat exchanger tube box, and a uniform liquid film is formed along the inner wall of the heat exchanger tube, and the liquid film inside the tube is heated by the heating steam of the shell process during the flow, and evaporates while flowing. The concentrated liquid in the material falls into the tube box, and the secondary steam enters the gas-liquid separator. In the gas-liquid separator, the liquid droplets entrained in the secondary steam are removed, and the pure secondary evaporation is conveyed from the separator to the compressor. The compressor compresses the secondary steam and delivers it as heating steam to the heat exchanger shell process for evaporator heat source to realize continuous evaporation process.
MVR forced cycle evaporator
MVR forced circulation evaporator is composed of heater, separator and forced circulation pump, etc. The material is heated up in the heat exchanger tube by the steam outside the heat exchanger tube, and the material rises to the separator under the action of the circulation pump. Evaporation produces secondary steam overflow from the material, the material is concentrated to produce supersaturation and crystallization growth, lifting supersaturation of the material into the forced circulation pump, in the role of circulation pump into the heat exchanger, the material so cycle constantly evaporation concentration or concentration of crystallization. The secondary steam in the crystal evaporation separator is purified by the separation and defoaming device in the upper part of the evaporation separator and delivered to the compressor, which compresses the secondary steam and delivers it to the shell process of the heat exchanger for heating steam to realize continuous evaporation of thermal energy cycle.
MVR plate evaporator
MVR plate evaporator is composed of plate heat exchanger, separator and material pump. The materials are evenly distributed into the plate evaporator's plate group under the guidance of the distributor to ensure that there is no dry wall phenomenon in any piece. The form of evaporator can be made into the form of ascending film, descending film and forced circulation. The secondary steam in the evaporator separator is purified by the separation and defoaming device in the upper part of the evaporator separator and delivered to the compressor, which compresses the secondary steam and delivers it to the shell process of the heat exchanger for heating steam, realizing continuous evaporation of thermal energy cycle.

MVR system component units
Preheating unit
MVR system preheating unit for material condensate preheating and non-condensing gas preheating, making full use of the sensible heat of condensate and the residual heat of non-condensing gas, preheating system using plate preheater, with the advantages of high heat transfer coefficient, full heat transfer and less equipment footprint;
Evaporation unit
MVR evaporator is mainly composed of heat exchanger, evaporator and separator. The material is heat exchanged in the heat exchanger, the material temperature rises and reaches boiling temperature into the separator, and the material is separated from vapor and liquid in the separator; the material is evaporated and concentrated in the heat exchanger and separator in a continuous cycle under the pushing action of circulation pump. According to the feed volume of different compressor form also varies, general engineering 1-5t / h evaporation MVR system generally choose Roots type compressor, for larger evaporation volume use centrifugal compressor.
Crystallization unit
The crystallization unit mainly includes crystal slurry tank, mother liquor tank, cyclone separator, etc. The supersaturated salt-containing crystal slurry is concentrated for the first time through the cyclone separator, and the supernatant returns to the system for further evaporation, and the crystal slurry liquid enters the crystal slurry tank; in the crystal slurry tank, the crystals are buffered, clumped and grown to form larger salt particles, and the crystal slurry tank material enters the centrifuge for brine separation, and the water content of the centrifuged salt is about 5%-8%, which can be used for subsequent drying. The water content of the centrifuged salt is about 5%-8%, which can be dried for subsequent processing.
Auxiliary engineering unit
Auxiliary engineering includes circulating water system, machine seal water system, flushing system, blowing project, etc., mainly to ensure the normal operation of the system equipment and facilitate the cleaning of the system; circulating water system is mainly for cooling the system compressor oil tank, cooling the machine seal water, etc.; machine seal water system is mainly to protect the compressor and each pump seal from damage, as spray water to cool the compressor bearing and prevent The flushing and purging system is mainly for cleaning and purging the system during shutdown.
