Chemical wastewater evaporation treatment project


Pure water changes its original physical property or chemical property after use and becomes wastewater containing different kinds of impurities. Chemical wastewater is the wastewater such as process wastewater, cooling water, exhaust gas washing water, equipment and site flushing water discharged in chemical production. If these wastewaters are discharged without treatment, they will cause different nature and different degree of pollution of water bodies, thus endangering human health and affecting the production of industry and agriculture.

(I) Introduction of chemical wastewater

Chemical wastewater is the wastewater such as process wastewater, cooling water, exhaust gas washing water, equipment and site flushing water discharged in chemical production. If these wastewaters are discharged without treatment, they will cause different nature and different degree of pollution of water bodies, thus endangering human health and affecting the production of industry and agriculture.

The chemical industry includes two major categories: organic chemical and inorganic chemical, with various chemical products and complex compositions, and the wastewater discharged from chemical plants is called chemical wastewater. Chemical wastewater is diverse, most of it is highly toxic, not easy to purify, has certain accumulative effect in organisms, has obvious oxygen-consuming properties in water bodies, and easily deteriorates water quality.

(II) Characteristics of chemical wastewater

1、Complex water quality components, many by-products, reaction raw materials are often solvent-like substances or compounds with cyclic structure, which increases the difficulty of wastewater treatment;

2, high content of pollutants in the wastewater, which is caused by incomplete reaction of raw materials and raw materials, or a large number of solvent media used in production into the wastewater system;

3, more toxic and harmful substances, fine chemical wastewater has many organic pollutants are toxic and harmful to microorganisms. Such as halogen compounds, nitro compounds, dispersants or surfactants with bactericidal effect;

4、Many biodegradable substances, low B/C ratio and poor biochemical properties;

5、High chromaticity of wastewater.

(III) Main main classification of industrial wastewater:

Inorganic chemical wastewater includes industries that make acids, bases and salts of basic chemical raw materials from inorganic minerals. Cooling water is mainly used in this kind of production, and the discharged wastewater contains acids, bases, a large amount of salts and suspended substances, and sometimes sulfides and toxic substances. Organic chemical wastewater, on the other hand, has various components, including synthetic rubber, synthetic plastic, artificial fiber, synthetic dyes, paints and coatings, pharmaceuticals, etc. The wastewater discharged in the process has a strong oxygen-consuming nature and is more toxic, and since most of them are organic compounds formed by human workers, they are very polluting and not easily decomposed.

(D) Source of high brine in chemical wastewater

As a kind of physical treatment method of chemical wastewater, evaporator has better treatment effect for high saline water in chemical wastewater, and for chemical high saline water, it mainly comes from the following aspects:

1、Highly saline wastewater from chemical production process

2, from the chemical wastewater treatment process acid-base neutralization generated by the treatment of high brine

(E) Evaporation treatment process of high saline water in chemical wastewater

For chemical high-salt wastewater, at present, the more mature evaporation process is mainly MVR evaporation process and multi-effect evaporation process:

For the evaporation process of high saline water in chemical wastewater, it can be used as the front-end treatment of wastewater treatment or as the terminal treatment, and flexibly combined with various treatment means such as biochemical treatment and membrane treatment to finally achieve the purpose of treating wastewater to meet the standard discharge.
