Separator
Separator is the equipment for vapor-liquid separation of evaporated materials, and the more commonly used equipment are: FC evaporative separator, OSLO evaporative separator, DTB evaporative separator.
(A) FC separator
FC separator by the conical bottom (with salt leg improvement), the material from the conical bottom discharge, sent to the heat exchanger by the circulation pump, heated by the bulk mouth into the separator for evaporation, so the cycle, so FC crystallizer and belong to the crystal slurry cycle type.

(B) DTB separator
DTB type crystallizer is a typical crystal slurry internal circulation crystallizer. Due to the setting of the inner guide cylinder in the crystallizer, the circulation channel is formed, so that the crystal slurry has good mixing conditions, and only a very low pressure head is needed to achieve good internal circulation in the vessel.

(C) OSLO separator
Oslo type evaporative crystallizer, also known as Kristal crystallizer, a kind of mother liquor circulating continuous crystallizer. The feed solution of the operation is added to the circulation tube, mixed with the circulating mother liquor in the tube, and sent to the heating chamber by the pump. The heated solution evaporates and reaches supersaturation in the evaporation chamber and enters the crystal fluidized bed below the evaporation chamber via the central tube. In the crystal fluidized bed, the supersaturated solute in the solution is deposited on the surface of the suspended particles, causing the crystals to grow. The crystal fluidized bed hydraulically classifies the particles, with large particles at the bottom and small particles at the top, and unloads the crystalline product with more uniform size from the bottom of the fluidized bed. The fine particles in the fluidized bed flow into the circulation tube with the mother liquor and dissolve the tiny crystals in it when reheated. The main disadvantage of this equipment is that the solute is easily deposited on the heat transfer surface, and the operation is more troublesome, thus it is not widely used.
